Kiedy dwa lata temu, Jaon zmagała się z problemem nadmiernego cholesterolu i wysokiego ciśnienia postanowiła zmienić swój tryb życia. Dotychczas, staruszka spędzała większość swojego wolnego czasu siedząc na kanapie i podjadając.

42 vs 72. Who did it better? 😅😅😅 I had to dig up some old photos of myself for an upcoming interview and boy oh boy was I shocked! I just don’t remember myself being that big for that long. I thought it was just for a short period of time. I thought it was just old age creeping in, but when I look back through decades of photos, I see a different story. I wish I knew then what I know now. I now eat more food more often! I have more energy! I have more balance! I have a more positive outlook on life! Wishing you all a terrific week of growth, self-love and success! 🌸🌸🌸 . . #grandma #masterathlete #athlete #inspo #fitspo #health #age #agingbackwards #fitover70 #olderwomen #oldermodel #silverhair #bodybuilding #girlswholift #strongwomen #yhhwomen #tscathlete #makeover #transformation #weightloss

Romanian Deadlifts! 😅😅 I do these to help strengthen my backside and really tone up my muscles. These are very hard, no doubt about it, and they aren’t easy to do right so I do recommend working with a professional. 🙏 I know I am very lucky to have a daughter and a son-in-law who are at the top of their fields. Every time I come down to Tulum to their gym I learn something new. 👵🏼 Here are my tips for mastering this exercise: 1) think of really tightening up your back and squeeze the back of your armpits, just like you are trying to stop someone from tickling you ☺️ 2) get a nice, tight tummy and fill it up with air before you begin. I hold my breath as I lift the weight and only take a quick sip when I’m at the top 3)keep that bar on your legs! @jeanjacquesbarrett and @yourhealthyhedonista are really strict on that. If the bar starts leaving my legs, I can start to feel it in my back. 😬 4) really keep the back from rounding. I am thinking of keeping a “proud chest”. I have a naturally rounded back from old age but I’m hoping that with this exercise and others I can prevent it from getting worse. My own mother had a real “dowagers” back so I guess it’s partly hereditary. I’m no expert. Like you guys I’m trying to keep learning and to keep getting better. I work with people who really know what they are doing and I trust them to have my health as a top priority. I recommend that you also work with professionals. I know it is so hard to find reliable help theses days but word of mouth is a wonderful thing. If you want to tag someone who you feel would be a good coach or trainer for people, please do so and list the area they work in and the gym they work at. A little community effort can go a long way. 💕💕 . My favorite @womensbest pink seamless outfit Knee sleeves are by @sbdapparel . #girlswholift #girlswhopowerlift #bodybuilding #fitover70

W zmianie kobiety pomaga jej córka -Michelle. Dziewczyna układa matce plan żywieniowy i treningowy.

Do zrobienia pierwszego kroku namówiła ją córka

Never take your health for granted. It’s often when we’ve lost our health that we realize this, and then it’s a battle to get it back. If you’ve lost your health because of your habits, like I did, the great news is that you can get it back by changing your habits. It’s all up to you. 💕 A lot of you wonderful people are asking me how I did it. A 70-years old gal set in her ways, angry, frustrated, arthritic, and extremely overweight. 😅 Here is what I can come up with.... 1. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired 2. Seeing my own mother’s health decline in a nursing home, in pain, and too stubborn to try and improve herself was an eye opener. 3. My daughter @yourhealthyhedonista sat me down and told me I needed to take charge of my health fast, and asked me to join her online transformation group. She insisted. 😅 4. My Dr wanted to increase my heart medication! 😫 5. I made up my mind that i could do it and I refused to quit no matter how daunting it was to head to the gym with arthritis and acid reflux and vertigo. I just focused on taking it one day at a time. I had to learn to use an iPhone and Apps which was extremely frustrating and humbling. 🤪 i just did my best, allowed myself to make mistakes, and never gave up. . I trained 4 x week with weights for an hour. I started out doing 15 minutes of easy cardio every day at the gym. I ate 5 small, balanced meals with a pre and post workout. My macros were 25 grams of protein per meal, 20 grams of carbs per meal, and 6 grams of fat per meal. I had very little appetite and could barely eat all that food, even at 200 lbs! After about two months my appetite picked up and Michelle increased my macros. I had lost about 20 lbs by then. .. I hope that answers some questions for you all ❤️❤️ With love, Joan
